Nora Mezioud - Executive Producer & Founder

Very early in our childhood, Rabah was 10 and I was 12, our house was stocked with National Geographic magazines. Our heroes were Sir Edmund Hillary, Tenzing Norgay, Ghandi and Cousteau. Those were our Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn moments. That’s when we decided that the family needed a news magazine to chronicle the many tumultuous events of our lives: Le Pic Vert was born. Those issues were magical to us. It was the foundation of our desire to create and accomplish together.

Our parents had the moral rigor of a somewhat happy Jansenist. Their motto was: “anima sana in a compere sano” (a sound mind in a sound body). They believed in a multidisciplinary approach of knowledge and wisdom where a philosopher was also a mathematician, a physicist, a theologist and a painter.

26 years of life and separate experiences followed Le Pic Vert before we decided that it was time. In 2013, we founded Hacon Square Studios.

Hacon Square Studios is a cross-disciplinary agency that brings together our respective visions of art and life to convey the standard of excellency and professionalism, foundation of all our work. We specialize special projects, because we like the challenge and we can.

Hacon Square Studios is more like an English club or a Literary Salon with tables of lifelong friends or people who just met the night before, “neighbors” from across the world, bouncing ideas off each other and who share the same visions of excellency and savoir-faire.
